Julian Micolta, CAT(C), CSEP-CPT
Julian graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Mount Royal University from the Athletic Therapy Program. He is a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA) and Ontario Athletic Therapist Association (OATA) and a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
Julian has worked in many different settings and with a wide range of populations. He has an extensive background working with high performance athletes and brings this knowledge and experience to all of his clients.
During his post-secondary education he worked with the University of Calgary Dinos, Mount Royal University Cougars, Barcelona FC Scola (Canada), Alberta Soccer, Calgary Saracens as well as at different national and international events. He is currently an Assistant Coach for the both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Queen's University as well as the Goalkeeper Coach for the JR Gaels Program in Kingston.
Julian has developed his treatment using a hands-on approach. He focuses on addressing and correcting the root of the issue and works on preventing further injuries. He also believes that each client’s motivation and history is unique. Treatment plans are tailored to each individual client in order to obtain the best results and outcomes.
