Rebecca Vinkle, RMT
Rebecca began practicing as an RMT in 2013 where she has seen firsthand the benefits of massage therapy. Using her background in kinesiology and anatomy, Rebecca utilizes the modalities of soft tissue and joint manipulation to create a customized treatment plan that works for her clients.
Rebecca’s focus is on treating people who are actively looking to improve their health and wellness. Whether you are a weekend warrior looking to improve your time and training, a first timer, or a seasoned athlete, Rebecca can aid in your training through pre and post-massage treatments and individualized plans suited for your specific needs. Not only does Rebecca focus on sports injury, but also on everyday issues that may be affecting your activities of daily living such as postural misalignment, muscle imbalances and/or acute and chronic pain.
Rebecca graduated from Queen’s University where she completed a dual degree in Physical and Health Education with a Bachelor of Arts. After completing her degrees, Rebecca travelled to Costa Rica where she found her passion for massage therapy. Following her adventures, she returned home and completed her Massage Therapy training at Algonquin College. Rebecca gained invaluable experience working in both Ottawa and Kingston for the past 6 years and is looking forward to continuing her work within Kingston’s community.
When Rebecca is not in the office, you can find her on the local trails running or biking, paddling on Lake Ontario—anything outdoors and active. Rebecca completed her first Marathon in May 2018. She believes that if you set the intention and believe in yourself, you can accomplish any goal. She hopes to be a part of your health and wellness journey.
