Karin Pryal, RMT

Karin (she/her) studied at Trillium college in Kingston to become a registered massage therapist with the goal of providing medical treatment that can really make a difference long-term.

Through her years working with vulnerable individuals at a rehabilitation centre for addiction and mental health, Karin brings a trauma-informed approach to care into her injury rehabilitation and assessment. Communication, understanding individual needs and navigating a healthy functional lifestyle after injury or medical intervention is important to her.

Karin has a keen interest in orthopedic injury rehabilitation, post-injury biomechanics and post-surgical tissue pathologies that has only been fueled by her experience within Kingston General Hospital assisting patients in an acute stage of healing. Watch Karin’s eyes light up at the opportunity to strategize a plan for treatment and prevention of re-injury.

Karin can often be found out in the fresh outdoor air, enjoying nature and all the exciting new growth that comes along with it. She hopes to continue to grow herself in the field of massage therapy with her knowledge of the human body and its own healing process.
