Rebecca Laing

Rebecca Laing (she/her) is a recent graduate of the Fitness & Health Promotion program at St. Lawrence College. Throughout her final year in the program, she completed a placement where she programmed and led strength sessions for the schools' varsity basketball teams, and assisted them in achieving strength and performance goals throughout the season. This experience solidified her passion and confidence in both strength training as well as injury prevention and management.

Throughout her formative years, Rebecca was a highly competitive figure skater, as well as a volunteer coach for an all ages learn-to-skate program. She then transitioned into competitive all-star cheerleading, where she discovered a true passion and love for the sport. Rebecca's dedication propelled her to win the Canadian National championships, and she continued to compete until embarking on her college journey. Rebecca’s exposure to the Strength & Conditioning side of cheerleading was integral to her success in her sport & gave her a deep appreciation for fitness and exercise, thus inspiring her to pursue a career in the industry.

Rebecca’s time at St. Lawrence College enabled her to work with a diverse group of clients and athletes, allowing her to recognize the significance of fostering a positive environment where clients are supported in achieving and excelling past their goals. Rebecca has certifications in Personal Training and Group Exercise through the Ontario Fitness Council (OFC).
