Victoria Mokriy, MScPT
Victoria (she/her) completed her Master’s of Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2009. Since then, she has worked in a variety of private clinics in Ottawa and Kingston and she and her family have now chosen Kingston as their home. Victoria has a passion for lifelong learning as a health care practitioner and has built on her education by taking courses including:
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Concussion Management
TMJ/Jaw Dysfunction
Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
Active Release Therapy (Upper)
Craniosacral Therapy
Postnatal Fitness Specialist
Acupuncture and Functional Dry Needling
Level 2 Lower and Level 3 Upper Manual Therapy
Victoria believes in the human body’s innate ability to correct or heal itself and takes great care in ensuring each patient has the tools to manage their injury or issue with guidance. The basis of her treatment is working towards restoring functional movement patterns using a thorough assessment, manual therapy, and a solid home program, keeping in mind that life and bodies ebb and flow and the needs of a patient are ever-changing!
Victoria grew up playing soccer, running and strength training, and she comes from (and married into) a big family. She and her husband Michael have two beautiful kiddos that keep them on their toes! Victoria has always had a passion for movement and physical activity; being a mom of two has challenged her ability to make movement a priority, so she’s always finding new ways to prioritize health and movement.
